WHAT IS THE GOWER BIRD HOSPITAL

 

Gower Bird Hospital is based in Pennard on the Gower Peninsula.

The centre is a registered veterinary practice and cares for sick, injured and orphaned wild birds and animals with the sole intention of returning them to the wild.

The Hospital treats all species of wild birds and small mammals (mainly hedgehogs).

Registered as a charity in 1996, Gower Bird Hospital currently admits over 1600 patients every year.

THE TASK

 

I was intructed to re-design and re-brand the Gower Bird Hospital.  The outcomes are as follows:

 

• A new visual identity, with brand guidelines specifying logo, typography and visual treatment

• Example pages (minimum of three) of desktop website 're-design'

• How the above website pages (and possibly others) may be designed and delivered on a mobile platform e.g. smartphone

• Example pages/spreads (minimum of three) of A% newsletter

• Possible investigations into other channels for promoting GBH; posters, merchandising, online adverts, print adverts, etc.
