WHAT IS TOYOTA MOTOR COMPANY

 

Toyota Motor Company is a Japanese automotive company that officially adopted its name in 1937.  Prior to being a motor company, Toyoda Spinning and Weaving invented the first automatic loom.  In 1929 the owner, Sakichi Toyoda, sold the company for £100,000.  He gave this money to his son who developed automotive technology.  In 1936, Toyoda created the company’s first passenger car, the Model AA.  Twenty-three years later, in 1959, Toyota Motor Company started production outside of Japan in Brazi

 

THE TASK

 

In September 2015 Toyota Motor Company will debut a new hybrid eco-friendly car in both Europe and China; the 2015 Toyota Yaris Hybrid.  We have been assigned to create a promotional campaign that will help the launch of this new vehicle be successful.  The campaign will take place over a six month period and will be executed with a budget of £100,000.
